How do you tell if cats are fighting or playing?
Cats 9 Comments »I have a 9 month old cat we have had for 7 months now, he was the only pet in the household until a few days ago when we brought home a 10 week old kitten. I introduced them slowly, but they still are chasing eachother and pinning eachother down, hissing, etc…but earlier today i walked into the room and they were laying together in the cat bed. It seems like when theyre fighting, that its mean, theyre pretty vicious with eachother, even to the point i wont put my hand near them to seperate them for fear of getting hurt, i have to spray them with water or make a loud noise and theyll stop…but then the laying together makes me think theyre getting along…is it normal for cats to behave this way? Should i keep them seperated, or let them work it out amongst themselves? Any other tips? Also, what are the odds one of them will get hurt bad when theyre acting like that?

What kind of cat is in the Fancy Feast commercial?
Cats 2 Comments »The cat is white and fluffy and has beautiful blue/greenish eyes and runs up to a lady in all white clothes. The cat is absolutely gorgeous and I wanted to know what kind it is. Sorry if there is not enough information, I’m hoping someone knows what commercial I am talking about.

How long will it take for my old cat to accept my new kitty?
Kitties 5 Comments »About two weeks ago I saved this kitty I call Peanut she was starving and cold, I think she is only ’6 wks old. Well anyway I also have a older cat that I have had for ’5 years she is very protective of her home. I really want these two to get along, I thought that since the big cat had been a mommy at one time she would nurture the baby. OH BOY was I wrong.
