@SuperSlayerX I own a golden, and man do I love him.
Uhm, we’ve had him a few years and he’s never had an health issue, besides chewing out his stitches, when we got him fixed. Lol, but he’s by far not a very expensive dog. Our Peek-A-Poo has ran us up thousands. But, the Golden he’s a lover boy. Dog food cost about 15 -30 dollars. Depending on what you want for him, food wise. If you keep him on the suggested food diet, the big bag of food will last a good 2-3 weeks. Grooming cost too.
dogs. Actually the best criterion to intelligence is the ability to make their own decisions based on what they’ve learned and what their task is. The ability to adapt. A guide dog golden retriever’s task is to care for their disabled owner and they use their intelligence in that task in a way that is almost human They are both intelligent and extremely caring. What a perfect breed!
@Stresemika I don’t think being easy makes this a stupid breed. They are highly intelligent (and like labs, can solve very intriquite problems and learn NOT TO obey if it’s dangerous to their owner. They for example disobey if their blind owner askes them to lead them to the street while the light is red. That’s a mark of high intelligence and only a few breeds can do that!) They just prefer their owners safety to their own. I think that’s amazing -and anables them to be perfect rescue and guide
I went to the mall which has pet shop and I saw this dog’s puppy, which only one left! We looked at each other like we had connection! then I moved around the mall and 1/2 hour later when I came back. its gone…..
