A popular girl’s theme is Hello Kitty. She has toys, coloring books, games, and videos dedicated to her, her sister Mimi, and their friends.

Hello Kitty’s popularity with young girls has allowed for the creation of many different party items. Their availability makes kids party planning very easy. You can find plates, napkins, cups, balloons, banners, goody bags, jewelry, and other little gifts at almost any party supply store (like Party City).

You have a few options as far as the cake is concerned. You should be able to find something at your local grocery store already pre-decorated. If not, the bakery should be able to put something on the cake for you. Bakeries have rules on what characters they can and can’t put on cakes, so if your bakery can’t do it for you, buy some icing, and do it yourself. Hello Kitty’s characters consist of very simple line art without much detail, which makes for an easy drawing using writing icing.
