My New Dog Cries All The Time? What Could Be Wrong?

Article by Anders Jacobsson

Painful to hearDog cries are very painful to hear. Animals cannot talk like humans and thus they express their feelings by making different sounds. Dogs whine, cry or bark to show their emotions. A dog cries normally when it is scared. No Matter The Dog is Wild Or PetDog cries are a natural alerting system present in every canine. It doesn’t matter whether the dog is wild or a pet, a dog acts this way when it feels left alone or scared. A dog that is detached from its pack will cry in order to attract the attention of its pack and rejoin it. Do Not Expect That Your New Dog Adjust At OnceThus you should not be worried if your new dog whines a lot. This is kind of a built in feature in every dog. When you bring in a puppy for the first time in your house, you ultimately change the entire environment for the pup. You must not expect that your dog will adjust the moment you bring them home. Dog Cries The First DaysDog cries must be expected for the first few days. In fact, it’s your attitude towards your new dog that will determine how fast these dog cries diminish. New dogs require extensive training so that they are able to adjust in your environment. Even if you purchase a well trained adult dog, bear in mind that the dog has been trained at some other location and the dog might need some time and help in order to adjust at your place. Dog Get Scared In The Night It’s NaturalDo not shut off your dog outside if your dog cries in the night. Even humans at times get scared or upset in the dark. This is not something un-natural. Instead in order to treat your dog, you must allow it to sleep in your room for the first few days. This does not mean that you allow the pup onto your bed the very first day. There should be certain restrictions and out of bound areas taught to the canine from the very first day. Arrange A Safe Place From Where To Observe EverythingYou can arrange a crate or an open Kennel which can be placed in a corner of your room or in the corridor facing your room. If the dog cries a lot, it may be allowed to sleep in the kennel, but you must gradually place the kennel a little farther from your room till you reach the place where you want your dog to be settled permanently.

Learn Yourself Why Dog Cries Training dogs is a time consuming process, but is a responsibility that comes with owning an animal. You need to be consistent and patient in your attitude towards your pet. We have written a best-selling book on your dog separation anxiety, and indicates that dog cries are not necessarily something that indicates a sick dog. Dog cries are rather a pointer towards a sad or scared dog. In our course you can learn various training methods to help your beloved pet to overcome their fear of being alone!Eliminate And Cure Your Dog Separation Anxiety Instantly! When is the best time to introduce dogs with a new puppy?

Dogs 6 Comments »

Question by kalamibe: When is the best time to introduce dogs with a new puppy?
I have a new puppy (yorkie) and also have two larger, outdoor dogs. I have already let the puppy in contact with the more timid dog, he’s actually afraid of her. The interaction was quick. My problem may be with my older dog. He isn’t aggressive, he just wants to sniff her and play. But she’s 4 lbs. and he’s about 70lbs. I am planning on training classes with the puppy, the other two are already good, but if a little, yappy dog is bothering them… well, they are dogs. Should I wait until the puppy has more training and will listen better? The bigger dogs are in a dog run, so they do see her when I take her out to potty and they have met through the wire fence. I take my bigger dogs to the dog park and they are fine, they always have the little ones running after them, but this one lives at thier home now. I’m only concerned because she will always be a tiny dog and I know it only takes one wrong move… Should I just wait until I have better control of her?
All wonderful advice, thank you. But I think I’m more concerned that the puppy will attack the bigger one, and he will not put up with it. She already acts dominant and I know she is going to learn that she isn’t. I just don’t want her hurt or him hating her forever. When we got our middle dog last year, ther were no problems at all. But he was a bigger puppy and he didn’t dare try to dominate the other one. I have tried bringing the older one inside to meet her, but she just barked and tried to bite him and of course, he tried to return the favor. I guess I just have to toughen up… ;-)

Dog Brushes – Save Time & Money

Dog Brushes – Save Time & Money

Introduction:

Brushing and grooming a dog is not as simple as it sounds. If you think you can use any of the several types of brushes available to groom and brush your dog, you will be so wrong. Each of the grooming tools available in the market is meant for a specific use, and a good understanding about the specific application is necessary to make grooming easier for you.

Professional dog groomers have the experience and expertise to look after your pooch in a better way than you can manage. The expert dog groomers would use slicker brushes to remove mats and tangles from the dog’s fur for all types of coats. A slicker brush would remove dead hairs from the undercoat and the coarser hairs from the outer coat of the dog’s fur.

There are various kinds of brushes which are used for grooming and brushing:

Undercoat rakes:

Undercoat rakes are useful for dogs that shed. The brush has one row of metal prongs which remove the dead hairs from the dog’s undercoat. To remove hairs from the soft loose undercoat of your dog, you should use an undercoat rake which is especially designed for this purpose.

Undercoat rakes remove the loose hairs without disturbing the longer hairs in your dogÕs upper coat. During the time of year when your dog starts to shed, an undercoat rake becomes very handy to keep your dog from shedding, and it also helps to maintain a healthy skin by gently stimulating circulation to the skin and removing dead skin.

Thoughtful consideration of Dog grooming tools by looking at a professional review is always recommended.

Wire-pin brushes:

The wire-pin brush is an excellent tool for general grooming of small to large dog breeds. The loose hair in your dog’s coat is lifted out smoothly by this brush, taking out the debris from the fur. Brushing your dog every day, or atleast every alternate day, keeps the skin of your dog healthy, while distributing the oil present in the hairs evenly through-out the dog’s coat.

You can also use the wire-pin brush to remove the fluff from your dog’s coat by brushing against the direction of hair growth. Wire-pin brushes are available with or without rubber tipped ends, and these brushes are mostly preferred for dogs with medium to long hair and those with woolly or curly coats.

Slicker brushes:

These brushes are essentially used to remove mats and tangles from your dog’s coat, and as you brush your dog the brush helps to remove dead hairs. Slicker brush gently stimulates the skin of your dog as the layers of the dead skin are taken out leaving the blood to circulate evenly. A slicker brush is often used at the end of grooming and brushing, giving a finished shining appearance to your dog’s fur.

There are various sizes of slicker brush available for the larger to smaller dogs. Slicker brushes are generally made from thin metal wire mounted on a soft padded material, looking somewhat like a hair brush. The soft padded material on which the wires are mouthed ensures that the dog does not get hurt as the brush is used.

Summary:

Brushing your dog helps to remove dead hairs from your dog’s coat and clean the surface free of parasite as well. Brushing also helps to keep away fleas, and while you brush you can check for the physical appearance of the animal.

While you groom and brush your dog you can easily find out of presence of any unusual bundle, or bald spot which you may take care of immediately. As you brush your dog as frequently as every day or every other day, you slowly build up a bond between you two, and brushing would become a friendly invitation for your dog.

Thoughtful consideration of Dog Grooming Brush by reading a insightful review is always recommended. We provide quality free reviews.
